Girls Camp Rules 2025
Feel the spirit. Have a wonderful time. Make new friends. Eat yummy food. Enjoy being outside.
Respect, kindness, and modesty are really important. “The For Strength of Youth Guide” is the perfect resource to help you know how to act and treat others.
The caretakers at camp do many things to help us while we are there. Their temporary home is in the parking lot. Please do not disturb it.
As much as we all love our cell phones, girls can not bring a cell phone to camp.
Please do not bring electronics of any kind to camp. Some examples of electronics (but not limited to) are hairdryers, curling irons, straighteners, speakers, laptops, tablets, and cell phones. *Leaders, please use your cell phone with discretion.
Swimsuits can only be worn at the lake. You may wear your swimsuit to the craft cabin during freetime as long as you are wearing a coverup. No swimsuits should be worn in the kitchen, mess hall, or at the campfire.
*Per church property rule swimsuits should be one-piece or modest tankini for women & girls.
If you want to swim or use water toys you will need to swim certify with our camp lifeguards before getting in the water.
Swimming and water activities are permitted only with the supervision of the camp lifeguard at the scheduled times. No swimming is allowed after dark.
While we like boys, they are not allowed at Girls Camp.
All visitors, including family members, must have prior approval by stake leaders to be in camp.
Please stay in camp boundaries at ALL times.
Only sleep on the bunks. We are not allowed to sleep on the floor in the middle of the cabin. There are no changes for cabin assignments and no “sleep overs.” Only one girl per bunk.
Archery and ax throwing are only permitted with leader supervision at the scheduled times.
We have lots of fun classes, workshops and activities at camp. All able-bodied girls need to attend. *Cabin leaders are to join their girls during rotations.
Please be on time to all camp activities.
If for any reason a girl needs to leave early, she must be personally released by a stake leader even if prior arrangements were made.
Leaders: If your car is staying up at camp for the week, please back in, even when unloading. Girls are not allowed to drive themselves to or from camp.
If there is an Emergency please contact: Julie Brooksby (503.502.7380)
